I got a job offer, praise the Lord! 6th math here, at a really great school! Now the question is, does God want me there, or does he plan to offer me something somewhere else this week, before I have to tell the principal on Monday if I want his spot. Many prayers to be prayed and listening to be done. Lord help me listen, because I tend to be bad at that! Cliff…hurry home!!!!!!!!!!

Missing Clifford

So I just ran all over Waco getting random items and visiting many dollar stores. Dollar stores are fun. :) I have made it 24 hours missing Cliff. We have never been apart for more than one night so three nights seems like for-ev-er! I just have this problem of making myself scared. But then I just have to remember that God is my protector and comforter and I am really okay. Maybe I’ll sleep at Grandmothers tongiht… Hopefully Cliff is having fun, in the scorching south Texas beach heat and humidity. I hope he enjoys hanging out with the guys. I have been planning for UYP. It is hard to plan becuase I realllly want it to be good since people are actually paying for this. I’m sure it will be fine though. Ok, off to watch Oprah and wrap presents :-D

Fun Day!!

Well the day started off not so great, the dog was whining and I jumped out of bed to check on her because yesterday, at the worst time possible, she decided to have some tummy problems and make a mess in the living room! Of all the days, we came home from church to find the mess, and people were coming over!!!! Oh well, anyway, she had a recurrance this morning before 7 apparently and well…yeah…
But Cliff and I got to go place our order for our wedding album pics (already paid for!) and now we just have to wait like 2100 years for it! Not really, but she is very backed up so it will be several months. Not like we were really in any hurry…obviously… By the way, if anyone needs a photographer, Julie Burleson and Lasting Impressions Photography is just wonderful! Anyway, later in the day we decided to go couch shopping. It turned out great! We got a couch, love seat, chair, and ottoman! :) So this is a sorta pic of it, sorta bc it is with a different company but I think it is basically the same thing. Anyway I am very excited about it!!!

Yayyyy for Graduation! Its kinda crazy. I talked to a friend earlier and we were talking about graduating from high school four years ago and all that was going on then. So many things have happened since then. I am so glad I was able to come to Baylor, I have just loved it!!!! Sic ‘em!

I really like cheese dip. It must be horrible for you. I mean it looks like the cholestorl which cloggs your arteries but it tastes so good. Ok I am going to go stain a porch swing now. Yay for that! I can’t wait to get it up in the backyard to swing on.

So last week I was watching Oprah (call me a nerd if you will) and they were showing previews for this week. For Tuesday’s show, they showed some cheerleaders, and I thought they looked like Baylor’s but I thought, naaa probably not. Well, check this out:

post numero uno

I figured I would create this just for fun, but we’ll see how much I keep up with it. Maybe it will actually make me journal, not that I can imagine writing anything very personal and meaningful out on the web for all to see. Today was interesting. I journeyed up to Arlington for a job fair to hound the MISD people some more in hopes of getting a job there. We’ll see what happens. I think of myself as pretty patient, but God is refining my patience and faith in this whole job-wait process. On another thought, the Ballpark at Arlington is so pretty! And no, I will not call it by that horrendous commercial name that is its official title. And seeing Six Flags made me really want to go there! Too bad I was in heels and had no money!! (Or maybe it was a good thing…) Anyway, I am almost graduated, four years gone like that. Kinda crazy. Okay, enough for now, time to sleep so I can handle the lovely eighth graders tomorrow.
