My new shoes! Leanna inspired me to post about my new shoes.

Last year I had the realization that teaching calls for comfortable shoes. Gone are the days of buying several pairs of payless shoes because they are cheap and cute. Instead now I save up Christmas/Birthday money to buy some more expensive shoes that are of better quality so that I can be comfortable and happy in my shoes all day at work. Here are some I got at Christmas time.

(Lydia, do you remember when we shopped at DSW in Austin last Spring Break? Remember those shoes that were too big for me, well I wished all year I had gotten them, so I finally got some that are similar. (the last ones))

Okay the zoo was very fun! Lotsa traffic, but still good. We had fun hanging out with Steve and Lindsey. We went out to eat at El Chico later and then hung out at our house and played Dutch Blitz. Such good friends! Here is a slide show of some pictures I took at the zoo. (Thanks to Lydia for her slide show of Friday which inspired me to check out slide.com.)
