Haircut!

28 December 2007

Well I got a noticable haircut for once. I really like it.
Here is a before picture (with my wonderful friend Abby). It was getting pretty long! I hadn’t had a haircut since like April (or whenever I last questioned all my readers about how I should cut my hair. Of course I didn’t really use any of the pictures that time but merely got a trim!)

And here is an after picture (with my wonderful hubby!). It is shorter and I have a small sweepy bang that Cliff likes but it gets in my eye, so I tend to tuck it behind my ear.

Merry Christmas!

Here are a few pictures of our Christmas festivities to tide you over for a few days. I know, my neglect of posting is just sad. I’m sorry!

This is a picture of our Sunday School class party. We just love our class. We definitely are the fun class! :)

This is a picture from the Junior Staff (and wives) Christmas party at church. We love all these folks too! We had a fun time writing a Christmas Mad Lib and laughing and snacking together. I am very thankful to the Lord for these great people that Cliff gets to work with and that I get to be church family with!

Saturday we had 36 people at our house and two extra puppies besides our own dog and cat! It was crazy. I wish I had taken a picture of the spread of food we have. We are blessed with lots of counter space in this house, and every possible inch of it was covered with food! It was a very enjoyable Christmas gathering. Now we still have a couple of more celebrations with other family members upcoming. And I am so glad to be off for 9 days! The last half day with my kids went smoothly and you would not believe how many gifts I got from kids! Oh my goodness. I have enough truffles to last a lifetime! Sixth graders are so much more generous to their teachers than eighth graders are.

Anyway, I wish you a wonderful Christmas day. Don’t forget the reason that we celebrate in the first place. It ain’t the presents! Let your lives be an offering to Christ.

Love you! Merry Christmas!!
