Stitch Witchery is my new friend
Here are the willing participants:
Shirts that are just a little low cut and require a cami to be worn underneath.

Here is the problem:
Houston summers + pregnancy = I-don’t-want-to-wear-one-more-layer-than-necessary attitude
Here are the tools:
Scissors, pins, lace, part of an old white tee shirt, and a package of stitch witchery.(not shown: an iron, ironing board, and damp cloth)

Here is the process:
I knew I wanted to make “fake” cami inserts and put them in the shirts. So I tried them on and pinned it in place. The blue shirt got a piece of old white tee shirt to look like a plain white cami.

The green shirt got some black lace

And the pink shirt got white lace

Then I just followed the package directions. You basically put the stitch witchery, which is a like a thin tape of adhesive, between the two layers. Then you cover with a damp cloth and press with the iron for 10 seconds. Then you flip it over and repeat. Let cool. Then you are done! It was awesome! No stitches to try to hide or get right!
Then later I remembered that I had a pair of black maternity pants that shrunk up too short and so I used some stitch witchery to turn them into capris, which I have already worn once and really enjoyed the new cooler length!
So there is my instructional post. I would recommend it!

It worked great!
Jon smoked us in putt-putt, with his two holes-in-one! It was a kinda bad course though, in that we all kept getting 5′s because it would roll around the rims.
We made a sand castle. Lydia made a
My parents came down the last two days of the trip. We went out to eat at the Crab Trap and went shopping and hung out on the beach.
It was a great trip!

It is kinda hard to tell, but it is just a
and the same is true of them since they are all stretch. Really anything that is stretchy at the top could potentially make the transition into maternity gear. I have this blue skirt that I have had for about 4 years
