Tuesdays!

Tuesdays!

Tuesdays are the day of the week that we actually have something scheduled. In the mornings we go to the Ladies Bible study at church. For the past 5 weeks or so, E couldn’t be in the nursery yet because she was too little, so her Daddy sweetly agreed to keep her in his office during that time. The theory was that she would fall asleep in the car on the way, and sleep the whole time in her Daddy’s office. On Sundays this has worked well, and she has slept through church and sometimes Sunday School too. But somehow, on Tuesdays, she must know that it is one-on-one Daddy time if she stays awake, and that is what she has done most Tuesdays. Here are some shots from last week.

And on Tuesday evenings, we have home group. We are starting to be awake more, so we were actually able to socialize a bit last week!

Zoo!

Zoo!

E and I made a visit to the zoo with some friends this week! It was so fun!

First stop: The elephants! (She had on her elephant shirt, even though you can’t tell and she slept through that part.)

There was a new five month old baby elephant named Baylor. So cute!!

And here we are with our soon-to-be church nursery buddy. SK is only about 6 weeks older than E and they will both be in the “Bunny” room together at church this Sunday, as it is E’s first Sunday in the nursery. I am sure SK will show her the ropes!

After the zoo, we went by Daddy’s office.

Well today is the first predicted day for me to have a baby, and it is 9:47 pm and I have made it through the wedding I wanted to attend without going into labor, so I don’t think it will be today. (Sorry Desi and Issac!)

Here are a few pictures from lately!

And here is the “freshman four” as we were called at Columbus. Bryan’s wedding was very nice and it was good to see friends and catch up!

So we went to get our free Chick Fil A for lunch!

Here we are with our free food! It feels funny to order and not get out your wallet!

Here we are with the new “kid” cow mascot!

And then we got together with some friends at a different Chick Fil A and had free dinner too! I know, we are cheap! Here we are with the regular cow mascot. The funny thing was, we saw the exact same family in front of us in line at both locations! What are the odds that we would go to the same two different locations at the exact same times? Wierd! But the food was yummy and it was sure worth the $24 or so we saved by dressing like a cow!

The boys took us to a Mother’s Day lunch at a place called “Hog’s Breath” and I had a fantabulous BBQ sandwich. (My first Mother’s Day present, so sweet!)

Lydia and I wanted to work on our tan (although we put on a lot of sunscreen because we didn’t want to be miserably burnt all week, and ended up staying fairly white) but it is hard to lay on your tummy when you are preggo, so Lydia decided we should make “belly bowls” to lay down in.

destin 2010 (18)It worked great!

destin 2010 (22)Jon smoked us in putt-putt, with his two holes-in-one! It was a kinda bad course though, in that we all kept getting 5′s because it would roll around the rims.

destin 2010 (49)We made a sand castle. Lydia made a owl.

destin 2010 (85)My parents came down the last two days of the trip. We went out to eat at the Crab Trap and  went shopping and hung out on the beach.
