Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 29 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: about 24 lbs! As my doctor says, “not awful, but not great either”…. I am going to try to maintain for a while and not gain. It is unfortunately gathering in my thighs and, last time I checked, that is not where the baby is…
Maternity Clothes: I found a couple of fun shirts and some shorts at Motherhood on vacation that I really like. I am going to try to stop buying maternity clothes for a while because I think I am sufficiently stocked up.
Best Moment this week: My husband telling me how pretty I still am, even though I don’t feel like it sometimes. I am struggling a bit with body image right now!
Movement: She is getting strong! Her movements are much bigger now!
Food Craving: Nothing specific right now. I find that I get thirsty right before bedtime, but really I am trying to not drink right before bedtime to cut down on indigestion so it is kinda an issue! I really want to gulp down a bunch of water, but I know that the second I lay down I will regret it!
What I miss: moving around easily
Sleep: I am actually sleeping pretty well! Thank you to Robin and Alicia for lending me some pillows that are helpful!
What I am looking forward to: School being out! Only 4 more days!
Symptoms:Indigestion, swelling in my ankles and feet and aching under my belly.
